Job description

1.Develop firmware for embedded gaming products;

2.Help define product architecture as needed;

3.Participate in schematic/layout review;

4.Create project and technical reports as required;

5.Test and evaluate prototypes from initial engineering samples to mass production;

6.Help set-up and maintain firmware servers(used for revision control, build system;

7.Develop tools for internal use, including scripts and basic hardware interfaces.

Skills and abilities

1.Strong skills on circuit analysis/debug,PCBA bring up, solder/rework;

2.Understanding on audio engineering concepts including audio characterization, signal processing, real-time requirements,etc;

3.Ability to work with cross functional development teams from internal HW/SW developers,chipset supplier,etc;

4.Able to co-work with outside 3rd party contractors on FW development/debug and code management;

5.Ability to demonstrate at least one full FW product development cycle of a high volume,electronic device;

6.Good understanding of ARM Cortex-M;

7.Good understanding of RTOS based firmware design;

8.Knowledge of SVN, git;

9.Understanding of the gaming, console,pc markets a plus.

Job Description
1. Analyze and research product use case, Apply analytical techniques to explore user behavior, lifestyles and hidden pain points;
2. Synthesize research findings and conceptualize the value proposition, target customer segments and use cases into design solutions;
3. Make product concept sketches, physical prototypes, product renderings and final CAD;
4. Work collaboratively with other designers, Mechanical and Electronic engineers, marketing, project and product managers;
5. Align concept to brand and business goals.

Skills and abilities
1. 3-5 years in consumer product design;
2. A portfolio of product design work;
3. Ability to communicate ideas through sketches, prototypes and photorealistic renderings;
4. Bachelor’s Degree in industrial design;
5. Skilled in Rhino, Keyshot, Photoshop, Illustrator and other design tools;
6. Fluent in Chinese speaking and writing, Fluency in English Speaking and Writing is preferred.
